9th Aboriginal Development Forum - Registration



The Northern Territory Government is hosting the 9th Aboriginal Economic Development Forum (previously known as Indigenous Economic Development Forum) in Darwin from Thursday 7 to Friday 8 November 2019.

The 9th Aboriginal Economic Development Forum (Forum) will include a welcome reception, plenary sessions with keynote presentations, breakout sessions and a Marketplace showcasing Northern Territory (NT) Aboriginal businesses and services and programs.

The Forum will provide an opportunity for Aboriginal businesses from across the NT to showcase their products and services to key stakeholders with a vested interest in progressing Aboriginal economic development.

Building on previous forums, there will be an emphasis on encouraging the sharing of knowledge, experiences and connecting and strengthening relationships between Aboriginal entrepreneurs, private sector, industry, government and non-government organisations.

The Forum is one of Australia’s largest Aboriginal economic development specific events.

The collection of personal and business information enables the Northern Territory Government care of its agency the Department of Trade, Business and Innovation (DTBI) and event organisers to provide delegates with support and assistance relevant to the 9th Aboriginal Economic Development Forum (the Forum). Without your personal and business information, event organisers cannot progress and finalise your attendance at this event. 

In registering for this conference, relevant details will be incorporated into a delegate list (hardcopy and via the “EventsAIR” conference app) provided to delegates, exhibitors and sponsors for the networking benefit of all delegates (including full name, position and organisation). Information relating to how the EventsAIR conference app will use or store your data is available at https://eventsair.com/privacy-policy-mobile-application/. Further details may be made available to parties directly related to the conference including the conference organisers and venue (for the purpose of special catering, physical requirements, name tag creation and conference options).  DTBI will also add (or update) your data in its customer relationship management system so that you can receive up-to-date and relevant business information. 

Delegates who do not wish for their details to be incorporated into the delegate list can elect to opt out at the time of registration by indicating your preference in the tick box below or by emailing the event manager at Associated Advertising & Promotions Pty Ltd at events@associatedadvertising.com.au prior to the commencement of the Welcome Reception on 6 November 2019.

Talent release:

Participants who attend the Forum may be captured in visual and audio recordings, either as an individual or part of a group. These visual and audio recordings may be reproduced for use in advertisements, promotional material and training and development materials prepared by and/or published for and on behalf of the Northern Territory Government in connection with the Forum.

Visual and audio recordings and other personal information described above may be supplied to contractors and service providers engaged by the Northern Territory Government to develop or produce advertisements, promotional material and training and development materials in connection with the Forum but will not be provided to any other person or organisation for purposes other than advertising, promotions or training and development. 

The permission will continue until permission is revoked in writing to the Northern Territory Government or Associated Advertising & Promotions Pty Ltd. In the situation where permission is revoked, every effort will be made to remove the image from future distribution; however this may not be possible or practical in some situations.

A participant who does not wish to be captured in visual and audio recordings for the purposes described above must advise the event manager at Associated Advertising & Promotions Pty Ltd in writing at events@associatedadvertising.com.au prior to the commencement of the Welcome Reception on 6 November 2019.
